I even got my husband to read it. I thought this book was quite entertaining. Some parts made him laugh so hard he cried. I plan to pass along my copy or buy one for any pregnant friend. It puts a comic spin on what I've been going through (and shows that it could be worse). I think he has a whole new respect for his pregnant wife. I would recommend this book to just about anyone with a sense of humor.
Also, it will save you some confusion. Jenny McCarthy did not spare any word in her book. My wife (yes, I am Mandi Girl's husband) bought this books upon her friend's recommendation and I read it too. Instead of trying to find out what is happening with her, physically and emotionally, you'll most probably know it beforehand. I WISH I read it within the first couple months of my wife's pregnancy. You will be amazed how very little details can be very helpful to understand what your wife really needs in terms of help during those times. Very useful. I recommend to both couples.
This book is a wonderful read for first time pregnancy, women thinking about getting pregnant- or any woman that has been pregnant- Really a pleasure to read
This book takes an honest look at pregnancy with plenty of humor thrown in. I felt like Jenny was a friend telling me the points on being preggers that no one else would. Will for sure pass on to my friends.
I ordered a book for my daughter and I received it in the time promised in better shape than it was described. Thanks, she loves the book. I will look to this seller next time I need to purchase a book.
